Appalachian Regions
The region of Appalachian is an extension of the Appalachian Mountains. These mountains start in the southeastern part of the US and finish in the Maritime Provinces of Canada.
The geographical features of this region are taken over by man but with what is still there it’s mountainous, rocky with a few running water streams. Water is a big part of the Appalachian geographical features.
The most important industry in this region is mining.
The recreational activities people come for from this region are the mountain crafts, candle making and the hiking and fishing.
